  The control unit for the engine development
 

 

 

 
 

The installation of the ECU is quick and simple: it is sufficient to connect it in parallel to the Kill switch and finally install the temperature measurement probe. The control unit is compatible with the TCI-IKEDA ignition systems for ignition flywheels with two magnets.

No other power source is required.

Increases engine torque and power
 

The right Timing ignition management at every point of engine operating conditions both original and prepared, improves the combustion of the mixture and increases the power at all engine speeds.
Furthermore, the right timing reduces the annoying "delay" of torque and power delivery typical of engines, thus allowing shorter response times.
By programming the correct timing at high revs, it is possible to increase the efficiency of the muffler allowing a considerable extension of the maximum speed of your engine for the benefit of power and top speed.
Thanks to the specific electronic circuit, the use of the Ecu improves the quality of the spark and making the ignition point of the fuel mixture more stable throughout the entire rpm, ensuring fluidity and constant performance.

 

 

 

Engine temperature reduction
 

In the presence of major mechanical modifications or with the use of more performing ignition systems, there is often a significant increase in the engine operating temperature. Thanks to the modification of the advance where necessary, it is possible to contain the increase in temperature, guaranteeing longevity and constant performance of your engine.

 

 

 

Fuel consumption reduction
 

The optimum ignition advance at all engine speeds allows for better combustion efficiency and a significant reduction in fuel consumption for the same torque and power delivered by the engine.

 

 

 

Measures and extends the engine speed
 

It allows you to view the maximum speed reached during the last run. This function is useful to determine if the engine provides full power and furthermore the acquisition of the maximum peaks is very useful for the development of the transmission ratios, thus establishing the maximum speed that can be reached (theoretically calculated by the EcuPlus Manager Tool).

 

 

 

Run Time measurement
 

This function indicates the time of use in the current and previous Run. Knowing the running time of the engine is useful for calculating fuel consumption and avoiding unpleasant engine stops. The Easy ECU also measures the total running time of the engine (up to 4 different engines) that is required to determine when the user needs to be notified to carry out engine maintenance.

 

 

 

Temperature measurement
 

The Easy K control unit is equipped with a powerful temperature measurement function via type K thermocouple (measures up to 700 ° C / 1290 ° F). The nature of these robust probes, available in various shapes and configurations (including infrared type), makes them suitable for measuring the engine temperature or even the temperature of the exhaust gases. The analysis of these two important temperatures allows precise adjustment of the fuel mixture and the ignition time, making engine development faster and safer.

 

 

 

Ignition systems compatibility
 

EcuPlus compatibility is guaranteed with TCI-IKEDA ignition systems with ignition flywheels with two magnets, diameter 60, 70 and 89 mm. However on request, it is possible to adapt the advance curves to customized flywheels diameter.

 

 

 

Firmware upgradeable
 

Thanks to the continuous development and updating of the product, the firmware residing in the microcontroller can be updated through a specific programming tool available for free in the download section. It is thus possible to have a product that is always updated in terms of performance and with all future features.
